Coping - 2 Song Demo

I got this demo by Chicago's Coping yesterday, again from the lovely world of VLV. Totally fun upbeat late 90's style emo jams. You know the style! "Seniors" is a jam and a half! I don't know what else to say. Download this, add them on myspace, get them to play your friend's kitchen sometime. They're still a new band, so I'm excited to see what else comes from them soon!

Cats and Cats and Cats: If I'd Had An Atlas

I was very excited/surprised by this release so I figured I would post it as soon as I heard it. Cats and Cats and Cats (if for some strange reason you haven't heard them by now) play fairly epic sounding twinkly music. Most of their stuff I would say sound like sped up postrock jams with vocals. They also have a violinist which sets them apart a bit (just like Yellowcard!). Like Maps and Atlases, CACAC seem to be branching out a bit with this release. If you enjoy what you hear, please think about purchasing this album.
