My Heart To Joy - Virgin Sails

So normally I wouldn't post a "DIY" band that's still very active/has stuff that's very easy to buy, but this is a special case! I just found out that My Heart To Joy sold out of their 7" and have it for free download on their band camp website, so I figured I'd help promote that some. So get it, it rules! Wavelets

Based on the name I was expecting another hyped up lofi surf band with crummy GarageBand recordings. Thankfully this is not the case. Wavelets reminds me a bit of Grown Ups without so much of the pop punk influence. They generously give all their recordings away for free from their blogspot. Enjoy.

Let's: I Can't Wait

OK for serious, time to up my post count. I saw Let's play a few months ago with Castevet and Grown Ups (great show). It features members of Summer We Went West and Pansori. I think they sound a lot of Summer We Went West. Very jangly emo. 3 songs. Check it.
